Ann Breitenwischer
Class of 1982
Ann was a gifted athlete who starred in three sports at CCHS and earned twelve varsity letters! Her favorite sports were soccer and basketball, for which Britey was named to the DCL All-Star team six times in eight seasons. More important, she led her CCHS teams to the DCL title seven times.
A blue chipper in the soccer net, she would go weeks without allowing a goal as her teams won game after game, an Eastern Mass championship in in 1981, and two state championships in 1979 and 1980. She recorded an amazing 48 shutouts in her high school career and was named to the Globe All Scholastic team. As center and Captain in her senior year, Britey led her basketball team to the semifinals of the state tournament in Boston Garden.
Upon graduation from CCHS in 1982, Ann took her athletic skills to Salem State College where she concentrated on basketball. In 1986 her team won the NCAA Division 3 championship. She graduated in 1988 with a major in Sports Fitness, and is currently living in Bolton and working for the Town of Concord.
